ABOUT THE CHOCOLATE: Back in 2012, we took a once in a lifetime trip to Tanzania. We traveled by bus and made our way through some of the most lush landscapes imaginable. Our destination was the region Mbeya - known to us for having some of the best cacao in Tanzania.
TASTES LIKE: This bar is predominately fruity yet balanced by a brownie like flavour and buttery soft texture.
USEFUL INFORMATION:
This chocolate is made from cacao beans from Tanzania. We bought this cacao directly through Kokoa Kamili. They work with over 2000 farmers in the Kilombero Valley area.
All cacao is centrally fermented and dried to ensure a consistent, quality product.
Shelf life is 12 months from date of manufacture
The pouch is made from compostable material and printed with soy ink
